The Kata Tjuta domes are located 40 minutes away from Uluru. It’s an aboriginal name which means many heads.
Its a group of 36 massive sandstone domes located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Australia's Northern Territory
I personally think they are just as majestic as Uluru. They don’t get the same attention, but they hold their own grandeur.
I came across this location while scouting during the day. I had a sunset shot in mind and this location was perfect.
The sun was setting directly behind me. I waited for the foreground shadows to creep closer to the base of the domes. Then I waited for the last light to hit the domes before I took a shot. This brought out the deepest red colours of the domes. Within minutes, it was over. Amazing
