Story
Little Red Truck, Little Hartley
The time was around 10.00am. ‘Time to go home’ I thought. I was a bit hungry. After all, I’d been up since 4am. ‘The nearest place to eat was probably Lithgow’, I thought. I turned left off Cox River Road onto the Great Western Highway, there at Little Hartley, and headed for Lithgow. About 300 meters from where I turned off, to my left, I spotted this wonderful little red truck. My stomach was saying, I’m hungry keep driving, but my heart was saying, turn back. So I went with my heart. I made a u-turn and went back. My timing could not have been more perfect to capture this beautiful little red truck. 20minutes later and shadows would’ve been cast over the truck which would’ve ruined the photo. Timing is everything. And always go with your heart, and not your stomach.
