The afternoon was turning out to be a wonderful. There was high cloud which signified colour in the sky.
I had to do a bit of rock hopping to get to this location. Nothing dangerous, but still needed to be careful. Apparently, but I didn’t see it, there was a seal playing in the water, not far from where I was.
I probably spent about half an hour trying to compose this shot. Then I had to wait for the right waves and water motion before I hit the shutter. To the left, the sun was setting perfectly between a calved out rock. I waited for the sun to be semi submerged before I took the shot. It was a beautiful afternoon.
