stormy mountain, Vic. High Country
We’d just spent 2hr at Omeo Valley. We stopped to have breakfast at a place called Twinkles, which is situated in the centre of town. Such a lovely town Omeo. The couple who own Twinkles were very hospitable. The breakfast was perfect. Just what the Doctor ordered. We then spent a bit of time driving around Omeo admiring the beautiful rolling green hills. The sun was shining, but you could see in the distance the clouds rolling in and the wind starting to pick up. We decided to leave and head back up to Mt Hotham on our journey to Mansfield about 3 hours away. Driving up toward Mt Hotham you could see the clouds getting darker and the wind picking up. I came to this spot on the mountain and I had to get out and take a shot. It was so wind that I had to hold the tripod down tight and have my head pointing into the wind crouched over. If I stood up I would be blown backwards. It was howling, but I LOVED IT! Such an adrenalin rush.
